We Still remember the event that happened quite a few years ago: We received a call from a parent inquiring if we could tutor her son—a high school senior, and prepare him for his final exam in Calculus which was due in two weeks . . . and make him earn an “A”. . . A two week’s time to prepare anyone—who had a “D” in midterm, to achieve an ‘A’ in Calculus finals is . . . .
We, as parents, need to recognize the fact that no school or place can replace the role of home in a child’s life. And, neither can any teacher replace a parent. A nourishing and supportive environment at home is essential for students to remain calm, focused, energetic and confident. The environment at home should support and encourage to remain focused . . .
We are parents and our children mean the world to us. We want our children to excel in education. We want our kids to be recognized as smart, intelligent and gifted. We want them to be able to compete and succeed in this highly competitive world. . . It is a tall order and a lot of demand on our little ones. . . .
Life is fun, freedom and adventure – sort of hectic and erratic. That is, until we are bestowed with our first Little One – Every thing in our life changes at that milestone. Forget the fun and freedom, the entire objective of life takes a new meaning. Now, it is about securing the future.
